Well, starting over again with this!! Have had a really good couple of weeks, so just a little recap!! From 14 July to end July, 3 weeks, really struggled, I was hurting everywhere, even at the very start of my runs, couldn't find any reason for it, only thing I could think of is that maybe I was fighting something off. Loads of niggles, sore right ankle, sore right foot, sore calf, seemed to be trying really hard but getting nowhere fast.
Week commencing 04.08.14: I was like a light switch going on, my aches and pains seemed to dissappear, I felt stronger, lighter, the weather was definately a bit cooler so not sure if that made a difference. Used my Tuesday and Thursday runs as base line for my next phase of training. Started swimming on Monday night, feels good.
Week commencing 11.08.14: 2 tempo runs planned for Tuesday and Thursday, not a bad tempo run on the Tuesday, didn't quite hit my target 10.19 over the 4 miles so not too far off. Thursday tried tempo over 6 miles, felt sick after 3 miles and had to stop, tried some new sweets so obviously not for me!! Managed 5 miles. Brilliant long run on the Sunday 10 miles along the Mawddach trail, pan flat, didn't manage my 4 miles at HM Pace, but felt good!! Now need to nail that pace this week.
